About

I qualified as a State Registered Chiropodist from the Glasgow School of Chiropody in 1979, since when I have progressed through the professional ranks to become a Podiatric Surgeon of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.

For approximately 20 years I worked in both the NHS and the Private sector, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions relating to people in age from a few weeks to over one hundred. Since 2000, I have worked exclusively in the Private sector.

I have a varied practice ranging from routine treatments, biomechanics and orthotics to foot surgery. My surgical practice, under local anaesthetic, encompasses the simple removal of part of or whole toenail through to bunion correction and implants.

In addition to my professional practice I  am a Rotarian, enjoy sailing, and have three children who have flown the nest.
